Sarah's Pony Rides is now offering guided trail rides for beginner through advanced riders. We offer trail rides all year long. We have access to over 25 miles of beautiful trails. We have all different breeds of horses and ponies.
Prices:
$25.00 per person for a one hour ride - Cash discount
$30.00 per person for a one hour ride - Credit card
$40.00 per person for an 1.5 hour ride
$50.00 per person for a two hour ride
$75.00 per person for a three hour ride
$100.00 per person for a four hour ride
Requirements:
All riders are required to have a Cook County trail riders license, which can be purchased at our stable for $3.00.
Trail rides are available for any rider that is over the age of 10 ( we have pony trail rides available for children under 9 ). We have family rides, that the horses and ponies go together for a trail ride.
Helmets are required and provided for all riders under the age of 18.
We have a weight limit of 250lbs.. ( We have one horse that holds up to 300lbs, if needed, please request "Oprah" when booking an appointment. )

Family Trail Rides:
Family Trail Rides are fun for the entire family. The adults will be riding the horses and the smaller children will be hand led by one of our staff members riding the ponies. The group goes out together on the trail.
Private Trail Rides:
A private trail ride is perfect for the more advanced riders or a family or couple that would just like to go out alone. If you are interested in a private trail ride, please mention that when you are booking the appointment. Private trail rides are $30.00 an hour per person (cash) and $35.00 an hour per person (credit card).
